Snow Baby

We woke up to snow this morning. Nothing BIG but of course we had to get Ty out in it. We had to do it right after breakfast, because we knew it would not last long. I love Ty in his red hat. I am sure he will see a whole lot of snow when we are New Mexico during Spring Break. Tyler is being spoiled this morning. Me, my Mom, and Dad went and got Ty this morning when he woke up. He smiled so big and started kicking his legs.
I saw the snow and thought about tomorrow, but we are supposed to have a beautiful weekend. Thank goodness.
Good luck Westphalia BlueJays on your first track meet today! Stay warm! You ROCK Ryan.

Ty and his Poppy

Poppy has me.

Well, I now have both of my parents in Temple. I love it. My Dad arrived this morning and has been playing with Ty the majority of the day. Tyler truly completes the Vaughn family. I tried to take more pictures, but he is a wiggle worm these days. I am sure you will see more.
2 more days and counting until Divine Desserts. I pampered myself this morning with a hair cut, pedicure, and manicure. A day of beauty.
I am truly blessed with having my parents here. I get weepy just thinking about next Wednesday when they have to leave. So, I am trying not to think about it. I will try and blog the next few days, but I might be a little busy. I will be setting up tomorrow from 12-6pm and gone all day Saturday. Oh, Ryan's kids have there first track meet tomorrow. I hope it is nice out. It is COLD and rainy right now. Yucky day. Saturday should be nice. I hope. However, we will get pictures of Ty with me and Ryan on Saturday all dressed up. Sunday Roy and Linda will be in town for a mini birthday party for Ryan and my Dad. They both have March birthdays. WOW! I love being busy.

FIRST shopping cart ride

Ty took his first shopping cart ride yesterday at HEB. He looked like a little boy sitting in the cart. Ty had a great time talking and smiling as we went up and down the aisles. What a cute boy. I just love his cart cover. It is so cute. I guess we found a new way to go shopping.

Pajama Party

Ty's new Jungle Pajama's
Ty loved playing in Ryan's dirty clothes hamper yesterday!
Enough. You women are driving me crazy.

Ty had a pajama party yesterday. It was so cold and rainy that we decided it would be best to keep Ty in the house all day. So, Tyler wore his Pajama's all day yesterday while Ghee did the laundry and I made phone calls and did emails. My Mom and I stayed in our pajama's until about 1:00 yesterday afternoon. It was a pajama party at the Steele house yesterday. I did get out and run some errands yesterday afternoon. I even got to sneak over and visit with my friend Lindsay and her two boys. Her husband makes all of the shirts for Westphalia, so I had to go pick up his track shirts. It was wonderful to catch up with her. I am in heaven right now with my Mom. I love having extra hands helping me out with Ty.

We are busy bee's around here. I have to go pick up two donations today and a few more tomorrow. We have a wonderful community that is willing to give what ever they can to help out. However, I think My Mom and Ty will come with me. Ryan has his first softball game tonight with Temple Bible Church. Tomorrow is the TAKS test, so I thought it would be nice to provide breakfast for the teachers to wish them luck. So, today my Mom and I will be making some monkey bread, and a hash brown casserole. It should be a nice treat tomorrow morning. I will get to go out there and help serve since I have my mom here. I love you Mom! We also get to view Ty's six month pictures tomorrow. Oh Boy. I also have a hair appointment. I have lists all over the house so I know what has to get done. It is a good thing that we early voted so we do not have to worry about doing that today. It is hard to believe that Divine Desserts is this weekend. I have been working on this project since May. What will I do with myself when it is over?

Love

It is so fun to watch my Mom with Ty. It always brings a smile to my face. Ty loves his Ghee (and, he loves his Nana too). He spent the majority of the day playing with me and Ghee. Ryan and I went to church this morning while Ghee babysat. When we came home he was down for his morning nap. That made me happy!
I think we wore Ty out today, because he was ready for bed. He even cried during bath time, which he never does. It broke my and Ghee's heart. Our sweet little boy is now in dreamland. I will have to take pictures of him tomorrow morning in his new pj's. I wanted to do it tonight, but the bed was calling him.

Sara's Baby Shower

Vicki, Sara, Me and GA
What a beautiful shower for a special friend. We had a great time hosting a shower for Sara and her baby girl. Sara is not telling anyone the name. I guess we have to wait until June to find out.

It is so special to share in this special time with my Best friend. I can't wait to be Mommy's together. Sara is glowing! She looks great. Pregnancy fits her well.

Mr. Ty got to come up to the shower after his afternoon nap. All of the women loved holding him. He is getting so spoiled right now. Ghee is giving him his bedtime bottle right now.

I will admit I love having my Mom here. I wish my parents were closer. She has to hold him all she can right now, because once Poppy gets here he will never let him go!
