Super Man

Ty was watching Sesame Street this Morning. I record Sesame Street every day. A group starts singing the alphabet song and doing a cute dance, so Ty joined along after a while. I don't know how many times I stopped and started that one section. Ty loved it.
Ty loves being Superman. We even walked over to our neighborhood walking path this morning to throw rocks over the bridge and Ty wanted to keep his Pj's on. It was pretty cute.

One more week and counting until my girl's trip to South Padre! We fly out of Austin next Thursday afternoon. I can't wait!

Stress

I just wanted to do this post for my sweet husband. Ryan's last class for the Spring Semester is Saturday. I know he is ready for a little break. Ryan has been working so hard on papers this week and has been staying up until 1:30am. Keep in mind he leaves for work around 6:45 am every morning. We are so proud of you Ryan and all of your hard this Semester. Ryan will have a few weeks off from class until June and then it will start all over again! Oh, the joys of getting a Doctorate. Hang in there Ryan! We love you.
On the home front we showed our house again today. Ty and I walked in from Bible Study at 11:30 and got a call that someone was coming to look at the house between 11:30 and 12:00. I rushed to clean up and then there is a knock at the door. Talk about a scramble. I load up Ty and the dogs and we headed to Ghee and Poppy's house. Oh, this is more stressful than I thought. I have been very negative about this whole thing lately, but I have just got to let it go and know that it will sell when the time is right. Still no word from our Realtor that showed our house on Monday for close to 2 hours. I have been really frustrated about that. I know I need to let go. Thank goodness for Pilate's this afternoon. I need to get rid of some stress.

Laundry Day

Excuse the Binky but Ty forgot to throw it in to bed after he woke up this Morning. That is what we do every Morning and after every nap, because Binky's are only used when we are in bed.

Normally laundry day is Monday but since we had a house showing today is our laundry day. Ty thought he would help out by pulling the dirty clothes out of the clothes hamper. What a silly boy!

Long Morning

As most of you know we showed our house this Morning at 10:30 am. We got out of the house around 9:30, so Ty would not make a mess or try to bring his trucks from outside inside. Mud!!! I vacuumed and mopped yesterday and again this Morning. I am a nervous wreck on the days we show our house.
Therefore, we run our errands and go to the park. We pull on to our street around 11:30 am and our Realtor and Potential buyer are still there. They finally drive away at 12:15 pm. They were there for close to two hours. We still have not heard anything for our Realtor on how the showing went. Thank goodness my parents live so close to our house so Ty could eat some lunch. I am still a nervous wreck!
Thank goodness we are heading to a fun play group this afternoon and then I have a meeting at 6:00pm. Have a great Monday!

Cinco De Mayo Party

Last night we celebrated Cinco De Mayo at the King's house. We had a great time with all of our close friends and I even ran in to a lot of people that I have not seen in a while. It truly was a great party! This picture is so dark but I like it. Just so you know that is not a real Tattoo on my arm. We put them on at the party. Very festive!
Lindsay, Whitney, Anna, Pam, Lacy, Me. I am so blessed to have so many wonderful friends. It is great to be able to get together as much as we do. Thanks Mom and Dad for watching Ty last night. We truly appreciate all you do for us.

Me, Whitney, and Lacy

me and Whitney (the host). Poor Ryan had to meet me at the party because he did not get home form class until after 7:00pm. He also left early, but it was great to see him. He has been working a lot lately.
Today we cleaned up inside and outside so everything would look great for our showing tomorrow morning. It is amazing how much work goes in to selling your house. We also had my parents over for Hamburgers tonight, so that was a tasty treat. I have some more touch ups to do the morning but I think the house is getting close to show ready

Choo-Choo

Ty LOVES trains. I know I have said it before but it is so true. Ty was given this little Thomas train set for his Birthday last year and is finally old enough to play with it. Ty also has a train mat that he loves. It was so neat to see him concentrating on keeping Thomas and Percy attached and on the track. When one would fall off Ty would say "No,No". I don't know what will happen if we ever loose Thomas or Percy. I am sure we will be adding to Ty's train addiction at his Birthday in July.
You can hear a lot of trains by our house and Ty always gets so excited when he hears the Choo-Choo! The little things that bring so much joy to a child. It truly is priceless. Ty is also obsessed with his sandals. He always brings them to me and then sits down so I can put them on him. What a cutie.

Ty took a dancing break for a little bit. I had some music playing on Ty's Cd. Ty is really good about playing in his room. Ever since we put our home on the market all of Ty's toys have had to stay in his room which is kind of nice because our living room looked like a kid's play room for a while. We are very fortunate that Ty has a nice walk -in closet that stores all of his toys.

I did this post for Ryan since he did not get to see Ty yesterday and he will not get to see him today. May is always a very busy month for Ryan, but it also means that Summer is right around the corner.
Have a great weekend! I am getting excited about our Cinco De Mayo party in a few hours. I wish the sun would come out all the way out. I am sure Ty is getting excited about a Surprise Party that he gets to go to with his Ghee and Poppy.

Outside Kind Of Day

We spent the majority of our day outside. Ty could live outside if I would let him. Since there was no rain in the forecast I let Ty play with a watering bucket on his side porch and after that Ty enjoyed his lunch on his table and chairs.
After nap time we went for our afternoon walk. We also stop at the bridge so Ty could throw walks down in the water. That is Ty's favorite thing to do these days.

I am so thankful that the weekend is here and Ryan only has one more Saturday class left until June. We are also attending the 2ND annual Cinco De Mayo Party at the King's house tomorrow evening. I always love the weekends that are spent with great friends.
Oh, I will also be making our house spotless because we are showing our house on Monday Morning at 10:30 am. Prayers that something wonderful happens. I know God has the perfect buyer for our house and a great house for us, but it is all in God's hands. I know He will show us when the time is right. Have a great weekend.
