Landry James

What's in a name? Landry James is the name we decided on for our second little boy. Ryan and I have a list of our favorite names (It is actually in a journal and it is probably more my list than Ryan's). However, before we had Ty we were set on our names. Landry is just a name that we both liked and the middle name, James is after my Dad and a late Great Grandfather. I love using family names.
This picture is not the best quality, but here is a 17 week photo of Landry. I think he looks beautiful.

Breakfast With Daddy

For the past three years on the first day of TAKS testing I always make a special Breakfast for Ryan's staff to enjoy before the big test begins. It is a lot of preparation and I have to wake up really early to get everything ready, but it is worth it. Plus it is an opportunity for Ty and I to spend some extra time with Daddy. Therefore, on Wednesday Morning we headed to Westphalia to serve breakfast at Westphalia. Ryan has an outstanding staff and they always love to see Ty. Ty acts like he owns the place when he is there. However, on Wens day he was Daddy's shadow. Where ever Daddy went Ty was right behind him. Ty did not want to say good-bye. We enjoyed our morning at Westphalia and being able to spend a little extra time with Daddy and actually sit down and have breakfast with him.

These pictures are my favorite. I love Ty's hand on Ryan. Ty watched everything that Ryan was doing. He really enjoyed getting to play in Daddy's office. We of course brought some trains. We never leave home with out them. We are already looking forward to next year.

After we left Ryan's school we headed straight to Bible Study and then after Bible study we had a lunch play group with the Belobrajdic's and King's. On Thursday afternoon we headed over to the Marshall's for an outside play group and this afternoon we headed to open gym with some friends. Weeks spent with friends are the best kind!
Ryan has another weekend of class! We are ready for Spring Break!! Have a great weekend.

Spreading The Word

I think it is safe to say that Ghee and Poppy were just as excited as we were to find out the sex of our little peanut. I wanted to tell them in a special way this time since we were not able to tell them in person with Ty, because they still lived in Florida.
Our sonogram apt was at 1pm so waiting was the worst part. At lease I had plenty to do to keep busy on Tuesday morning while Ty was in school. After I picked up Ty we headed over to Ghee and Poppy's because Ghee was going to watch Ty while we had our apt. Ryan met me at S&W, so I was just thankful he was able to leave for a little bit. Waiting to go in to the room seemed liked years. As soon as our peanut was up on the screen he flashed us and I said "It's a boy." before the doctor did. Ryan of course had a BIG smile on his face. I had been having that boy feeling for over a week, and even my Mom mentioned something to me the day of the sonogram how she would love to have two little boy knuckle heads running around!!! Sure I would have loved having a girl, but I am so excited that Ty is going to have a baby brother and I am praying that they will become friends and love playing together.
After we left with tons of pictures I headed to Callie's Boutique in search of the perfect boy gift for my parents and Ty to open. As soon as a saw an adorable Train Outfit I knew that I had found the perfect gift for my parents and Ty.
Of course Ghee and Poppy started screaming when they saw the train. There might have been some tears, too. They both were so excited!! My parents truly are some the BEST grandparents around and they would do anything for Ty and now baby brother. We love them so much and felt blessed to be able to share this wonderful day with them. We can't wait to welcome Landry James in to our family in August!!

It's Gone

As of Tuesday afternoon we have been garage free. The framing should begin on Monday. It is really coming together now. It is so exciting to see all the different stages. Ryan has been asking me to get these pictures posted so I finally did it!
Now off to pick up Ty and head to my parents for some laundry...

Happy Birthday Poppy

We celebrated Poppy's Birthday today!!! We went over to my parents house for dinner to help my dad celebrate his special day. My parents also invited our close family friends, Denny and Shirley. The meal was wonderful, but Ty was more excited about having some of the ice cream cake from Dairy Queen that he picked out. Ty loves being silly with his Poppy and this picture is one of my favorites. Ty was feeding Poppy the Peanut Butter cup that was on the cake! This weekend we will be celebrating some more!! Lucky Ty.
This week has been a whirl wind week, so I have some catching up to do. Stay tuned for more posts!
