Valentine Party with Child Life Camps

On Thursday the Junior League did a Valentine party for the children at Scott and White. It was a very rewarding experience. I fell in love with Child Life Camps during the Fall when the Provisional's donated the proceeds from their Purses, Pumps and Pizazz Sale to this wonderful organization. We were able to go to S&W and donate the check to the camps. What Child Life Camps does is send children that would never have to the opportunity to go to camp with an opportunity to attend a special camp just for them.
Thursday made me realized how blessed I am to be apart of the Junior League and the wonderful things we are doing in our community. The Cookie Decorating Station What a precious little girl. Look at that smile.
Making a cookie with Mom
The Tattoo station.
The bag decorating station with a a very sweet girl. She made cookies for all of her Doctors and Nurses. Thank you Sally and Jen for putting this together for the league. It was a very rewarding night.

Happy Valentine's Day

From our little heart breaker.

We will be celebrating Valentine's later in the day when Daddy gets home from class. Ty has tons of presents to open. We have one spoiled Valentine. We are going to enjoy a nice dinner with Ghee and Poppy at their house tonight and then come home and watch a movie.

Valentine Fun

This afternoon we went to Pot Luck Valentine Party at Jack and Noah's house. We had a wonderful time with everyone but of course I forgot my camera. Lunch was wonderful and the kids exchanges Valentine Cards. I used to love that growing up so it was fun getting to buy Elmo Valentine cards for all of Ty's friends.
Ty finally got to enjoy a cupcake this afternoon. Sweets are not found in house that much so Ty went crazy over the cup cakes. Ty enjoying his cap cake with his Valentine bag full of goodies. The red icing took for ever to come off his face.

This is why we don't keep sweets in the house. What a little toot. Next year I will be making cup cakes with sugar free icing.
Ty has had two Valentine Parties this week. One on Wednesday in the Nursery during Bible Study and then one this afternoon. I think Ty has had enough sweets to last us the month. However, I am sure he will get more tomorrow.

Fun Filled Morning

Ty and Hudson rolling cars down the slide. They are so precious.

Ty and I went back to the play area at the mall this Morning. We met Lindsay and Hudson there at 9am, so we had the whole play area to ourselves because the the stores do not open until 10 am! Lindsay and I had a great time chatting and watching the boys climb all over the cool stuff. Ty and Hudson loved rolling Hudson's cars down they slide. Oh to be a boy! The reason we met at the mall this morning is because we had to pick up our book for this months book club. I missed last month due to a JL commitment so I am ready for March, well after I read the book.
After the book store Ryan called and said he was at the Wal-Mart in Temple buying AR and good behavior gifts for his students so Ty and I headed over there to see Daddy. Ty was such a big boy, because he held my hand the whole way to the toy section and as soon as we got to the toy area Ryan knew we were there because Ty started shouting ball, ball! Ryan peeked around the corner, and Ty stopped and smiled and kept right on to where the balls were. Yes, Ty came home with a new ball. You can never have too many balls. Ty had BIG hugs for Daddy when it was time to for us to leave. Ty even started crying when we said good-bye. I am sure that made Ryan feel good. Ty adores his Daddy and loves to spend all the time he can with him.
We had a wonderful Morning and will be spending our afternoon outside enjoying this nice weather. Plus we are with out a car. Ryan's car is in the shop so Ryan had to take my car to work today and I took my Mom's car this morning. Thanks Ghee.

I had some pictures of our day but Ryan is working on a power point presentation for Saturday, so I am in the the living room on Ryan's lap top watching American Idol. I will try and post pictures tomorrow. Plus I will have some more pictures from a morning trip to the Mall play area with Lindsay and Hudson!

My Little Reader

Yesterday after Ty woke up from his nap I was putting away some of Ty's clothes and when I turned to fold the blanket that was in Ty's crib this is what I found. Ty opened up his glass cabinet where I keep pictures and treasures and Ty's big story books. Ty pulled out his Dog Book and started flipping the pages. This is one of Ty's favorite books.
Giving the Dogs some hugs.
I wonder why that Dog is missing a head? I think the person responsible is Ty.

When you lift the flap that looks like a tree you will find a Kitty. Ty loves to point that out, too. As you can see the only thing I can keep on the lower shelves are books because Ty will pull everything off. However, he is starting to do better with what he can and can not touch.
We are having a great week so far minus the cloudy and rainy weather. Ty has not liked being stuck in the house. Gymnastics was fun yesterday. Ty did his first ever forward roll. Twice! I was so proud. I still had to keep him in from wanting to go all over, but overall he did really well. Today we went and helped Ghee with a project that allowed Ty to see lots of big trucks and a train. What a great Morning.

Love It

It is never too early to start planning for Easter. We got Ty's outfit ordered last week and I can't wait for it to arrive. The best part about this outfit is it is reversible! I am in love with Best Dressed Child. You can really find some good bargain's.
I know I skipped Valentine's Day but don't worry Ty has Valentine themed clothes.
