Sand

Ty loved Helping Daddy and Poppy unload the sand from Poppy's Trailer.

House Update

We are starting to make process on our Remodel. We got the official City of Temple Permit so it is official and things are really starting to move along. Below are some pictures of what we have accomplished so far. Ty is still enjoying all of building going on. He loves to help! It loos like Ty is observing all of his hard work....
Plumbing was installed on Wednesday and approved so that is good news.

Saturday

Sunday. My Dad and Ryan knocked the windows down today and soon enough that whole part of the garage will be gone. A lot of work was accomplished today before it turned really cold, again.
I always love how there are traces of Ty during every part of this project. Ty really loved the sand!

Valentine's Day

We had a nice Valentine's day as a family. Ty got some goodies that he was very excited about. He got a Curious George DVD (Monkey Movie) and Henry the train. He kept Shouting Henry, Henry when he saw it. Ty still loves the Thomas Trains and he knows the majority of their names. Ryan loves to quiz him on all of the train names and Ty usually names all of them.
The most important thing about today was we were all together! I have learned to cherish our time together.

What A Week

Since I spent the majority of the week sick I feel behind on everything. I thought once I got on the Z pack things would start looking up. I had to get on a Z Pack when I was pregnant with Ty but it did not effect me the way this one did. I guess you could say that I felt almost every side effect that they mention on the directions. Tuesday was awful and I had a JL Board Meeting that night. I felt nauseous the whole entire time along with hot and cold flashes. I munched on saltines but that did not help. Everyone kept asking me if I was ok.... They told me at the end of the meeting that I looked so sick, and they were right! I got sick several times that night. While all of this is going on Ryan is getting his CDL certification (School Bus Driver). He is looking in to buying a bus for Westphalia. He had training every night except Thursday and Friday from 6-10pm in Waco and was back at it all day today (on his weekend off from College Station). Ryan would leave straight from work and get home around 10:30pm. Poor Ty was such a trooper during this whole time. My Mom was also in San Diego, but we survived and my Dad really helped me out on Tuesday. Wednesday was a little better but by Friday things were really starting to look up. We were so ready to go and play with our friends at open gym yesterday. We skipped Bible study, too so we could stay home and rest... well Mommy needed rest!
Hopefully the was the last round of sickness for me. I will be 15 weeks tomorrow. We are getting close to the big sonogram. We are having a wonderful weekend so far. Last night we did a family date night at the Mall. Ty played at the in door play area and then we had dinner at Casa Ole. It was nice just to be together. Spring is such a crazy time for Ryan so we always enjoy are time with him. Now to go enjoy some time with Ryan as we catch up on all of our shows that we missed during the week... plus the Olympics.

Valentine Party

Ty's MDO class had a Valentine's Party on Thursday and as you can see Ty came home with a lot of sweet treats. They exchanged Valentine Cards and goodies. I made cute good bags for all of Ty's friends but of course I did not get a picture. I love how Ty decorated his bag, too.It was a fun, sweet filled day for Ty!

Super Bowl

Well, we will just say that our Super Bowl plans did not go as planned. We were scheduled to host the Supper Club for a big party, but almost everyone in our Supper Club was sick so it was just the three of us. It ended up working out for the best since I was sick, too!
I purchased a lot of cute game table wear that was on clearance and since I can't take it back we will be a hosting a Supper Club "Game Night" at our house next Saturday night! My fingers are crossed that everyone stays healthy. We have a very competitive group so it should be a lot of fun.
I am finally feeling better!!! This week has been so hard and now I am behind on everything. Hopefully, I will catch up soon! We have a open weekend so I hope to take advantage of that.
