My Gym

I have received a three week free gift card to a gymnasium in the Katy area called, My Gym. I was so excited about the opportunity for Georgia Kate and decided to take advantage of this generous gift. Oh my goodness GK is a natural born gymnast. She truly loved her class and gets so excited when I tell her it is gym day.
Our trial is up, but we have decided to keep her involved with her little gym class.  With Tyler doing sports we felt it was time to get Georgia Kate involved in her own activities. I love watching her light up and the two instructors she has are so wonderful and GK loves them. I can't wait to watch her growth and hope that this will continue to be a good fit for her. I see some fun times ahead with our precious tumbler.

New Design

As you can see I finally got a new blog design. I'm not sure what took me so long to change up my design, but I just could not let it go for some reason.

I think it is still growing on me, but I do love it and hope it inspires me to get back in to the swing of blogging. I embarked on a 8 week journey this week, and I have been so consumed with this new role. However, it left me realizing I need to work on time management. ;)

I will be back and feel  you in all the Steele Happenings!

Tiny Toes

I am not sure how I let myself get so behind these days, but I think I will blame it on Spring Break. However, I think a week off was well worth it and we had a fun Spring Break. We got away and went to Galveston for a week with Ryan's family. I have tons of pictures and memories to share, but first things first.
I hardly ever get pedicures, but I do like to go and get a polish change on my toes, because lets face it I am horrible at painting my own toes. I was telling Ryan my last minute errands before we left for Galveston and Georgia Kate heard me mention getting my toes painted and she want to go and get her toes painted purple. Oh my goodness I had so much with GK getting our toes done and she picked out purple fore me, as well. I was shocked and how still and memorized GK was during the whole experience. GK even got a special flower on her big toe, and she was super proud of her pretty purple toes. I think I have created a monster because she is ready to go back and get her toes painted orange. :) I will say it is fun to have a special place where I can have a fun outing with Georgia Kate. I think we will have a girl day very soon! Any excuse to get our toes done, right?!??!

Crazy Wacky Weather

Come On Spring! We awoke to lots of ice, but thankfully it was mainly on cars, houses, and trees....  the roads were clear so there was no delay or cancellation of School. We have made up one of our bad weather days and will be making up our other in Good Friday. I'm not thrilled about that, so I especially don't want another bad weather day.
GK wanted to venture out for a bit, and she loved picking off the icicles off all the branches, and yes she was wearing Christmas PJ's. She may or may not have had the on most the day. ;)
We were supposed to go to Bible Study this morning but it was cancelled, and it was just too cold so we decided to have our own version off bad weather day. It was nice and needed.
The rest of the week is supposed to be cold, but I am hoping the sun the sun will come out. I'm especially for a nice Spring Break.

Class Project

Tyler's class has been learning about our local Community and examining how the geography of a place affects how people live. Tyler, well our family had an exciting task make a building of our choice. I'm sure your not surprised that Tyler chose to build a Fire Station.
Yesterday after we got out of Church the temperatures were starting to drop, so we decided yesterday would be the best time to start working on our family project. We turned on a family fun movie got all of our supplies ready and got to work. I forgot how much fun class projects can be, that I had to keep reminding myself that this was Ty's project not mine. ;)
I think we did a good job each taking turns and throwing out fun ideas.... even Georgia Kate helped. She loved cutting and glue. Most importantly we mad sure that Tyler's work and ideas shined through out the Fire Station. Such a fun Sunday afternoon at home as a family.

Little Helpers

March...... already?!?!?! That is semi hard to believe and I'm in shock at how fast months are flying by.
I personally like this Season and the Sports that come with it. The Lady Falcons Soccer team played at home yesterday, and they were in need of Concession Stand workers. Therefore, Ryan signed us up. I can't take any credit for it. Ryan was the one that set it all up and ran it. Well, he had Tyler to help.
I had to get Cooper to the Vet for shots and Annual Check Up and our apt was at 4:30. Thankfully, we found a wonderful Vet for him and just at the right time because we have to Board Cooper over Spring Break. Georgia Kate came with me and despite a longer wait that I anticipated she did great making sure Cooper was doing well and happy, plus all the other Dogs she saw while we were there was a bonus. GK loves animals. She loved watching Cooper get his check up.... we might have a future Vet on our hands. ;)
We finally made it to the game a little after 6:00 and Ryan looked like a pro running the Concession stand. He might have found himself a side gig. Tyler and GK loved it and the best part for me was dinner and dessert were covered and all at our fingertips. ;)
It felt great to have some family time together in a fun and unique place. It has been a while since I have taken GK to a High School event, but the sports that our outside really are the perfect fit for her. Basketball was a little too much for us. Hopefully, we will be able to resume our family outings to cheer on the Royal Falcons! I know Ryan enjoys when we are all there with him. Maybe we can become regular Concession Stand workers on Friday Nights.
It was a great way to kick off our weekend! Even better is this is our last full week of school before Spring Break!! We can't wait for a week off and a different routine.
