Thomas

Ty got this fun Thomas play vehicle for his Birthday from his Great Aunt and Uncle. We just love playing in it. However, I am not sure who loves it more, Ty or Ryan?

This Morning was so much as we headed back to open gym with some friends. It has been a while since we have been. Ty jumped the whole time. This afternoon we have errands run and then Ty will get to spend some time with his Ghee and Poppy while Ryan and I go out to dinner with friends! We are trying a new restaurant in town. Ryan does not have class this weekend so, that is the BEST news. I have loved Ryan class schedule this Summer.
Tomorrow Morning I will attend a baby shower for a dear friend I have not seen in a while. The Mommy to be is expecting twins. I have so many friends that are pregnant right now that it is really giving me the bug!!!! I think I am finally ready for baby #2.
The rest of our weekend is open. I can't tell how excited I am to have a Saturday night and Sunday with no plans. It is our only one for a while. Our Calendar for August is already booked!

Training

Yesterday we headed to Westphalia with Ryan to watch the football boys get fitted for their uniforms. It is hard to believe school is about to start. As you can tell from the pictures Ty was more interested in playing ball and trying to be a boss. It looks like we have a a future Superintendent on our hands. A huge gym to play in and phones to talk on, whats not to love!

Exemplary

I am going to use the post to brag on my Husband. As most you know Ryan is the Superintendent for Westphalia ISD. Ryan started this position in October of 2006. It is hard to believe he is going on 3 years. When he first started they were breaking ground on a new Elementary School so he played a big role in getting that building up and running. He also become a new Father a few weeks before the new school opened. Ryan never slows down.
Ever since Ryan started on this new adventure he has been working so hard to help make Westphalia the best school around. Well, Ryan got the official word yesterday that Westphalia is an Exemplary School!! I can't tell you how proud I am of Ryan and all of his outstanding staff. Ryan's dedication and passion for education is something to admire. It is neat to see how far he has come. I know we have a long road ahead us but it will be a fun and challenging adventure. It makes me proud to be a Superintendent's wife. We love you, Ryan!
Congratulations Westphalia on your Exemplary rating. I know it will continue for years to come!!

Supper Club Night

Last night the Belobrajdic's hosted a Caribbean Style Supper Club. The food was wonderful!
How wonderful it is to be apart of such a wonderful group of individuals.
We decided that we needed to get a picture of our hands on KC's belly since baby Sydney will be here next month. We can't wait to meet her!
I love the girls so much and I treasure their friendship. We always have a great time when we are together.

24 Month Check Up

This Morning Ty had his 24 month check-up. He acted like such a big boy when when they checked his height and weight. No more laying and sitting down to get measured and weighed. Ty weighs 36 pounds and is 36 1/4 inches tall. What a BIG boy!!!!!
Ty is officially on 2 percent Milk. I am going to start being very cautious of what he eats which right now is not a lot. Dr. Santema said that was very normal.
The rest of the check went really well and there were no shots. Thank goodness. We will go back in October for the flu shot and one more.
Ty did have a little runny nose this Morning but Ty is working on his 2 year molars right now. I figured he was because his hands have been in his mouth a lot. When she looked in his mouth she spotted them. That will explain the fussiness.
Getting weighed and trying to sit patiently and wait for Dr. Santema. We did have to wait a for a little while. Thank goodness I packed some trains.

Thank goodness for a good check -up. We continue to pray for good health and development.

Safety First

Ty is a huge fan of the trampoline we inherited when we bought our new home. I on the other hand was a nervous wreck every time Ty wanted to jump. Therefore, we thought it might be best to put a cage around the trampoline. Thanks Ghee and Poppy for getting the cage we love it!
Ty jumped the afternoon away yesterday. It is so fun to watch him laugh and smile the whole time.

Jumping can also a wear a little boy out and make him sweat, so we take a Popsicle break. Ty's new found favorite treat. Oh, the joys of summer.
This Morning was Bible Study so we both had a great Morning with friends and donuts. Ty brought donut holes this morning for his friends. We are so blessed to have this group. Tonight is Supper Club, Caribbean Style. Tonight is also a fun night for Ty because he gets to go out to Dinner with his Ghee and Poppy and then spend the night.
Tomorrow Morning is Ty's 2 year Dr. Apt. Shots!!! Ty has a gift card to Target so I think a trip to the toy/train section will be in store for us tomorrow.

Sunday

Sunday was Ty's official 2nd Birthday. Ryan's family was still in town so we had a fun Morning of opening presents and playing outside. My Birthday Boy first thing in the Morning.
Ty's very first lunch box. He is all set for Mother's Day out this Fall.

Ty got a lot of neat things. Thomas was a a big hit.

Tyler and Jacob blowing bubbles outside with Nana.
Ty giving Daddy a big hug for putting together the gift we got him. Ty's very own train table. Ty LOVES it. It took Ryan a bout 2 hours to put it together so I took Ty swimming with Ghee and Poppy.
Ty started playing with it as soon as we got home.

Enjoying a Birthday cupcake after Dinner. It feels great to be all caught up with the Birthday Posts.
This week is still crazy with several commitments but August should slow down for us just a little, I think?

Chug Chug Choo Choo Ty is 2

Saturday afternoon was a fun afternoon with all of our friends and family. A lot of Ryan's family came into town for the party and to also see the house for the first time. It is official we have a great party house.
All the kids loved playing outside on the trampoline and we also rented a really fun bounce house. Ty loved playing and of course blowing out the candle on Thomas cake. I think the only thing he was not a fan of was the Birthday hat! I wish I would have taken more pictures but you know how it is with a toddler and house full of people.
Thanks to everyone that came and helped us celebrate Ty turning 2. I still have more pictures from Sunday.

After all our guests left we brought out the train pinatta and let Ty and all the cousins have fun swinging the bat. Ty loved taking a swing at it.
I was so exhausted yesterday! However, all the hard work and planning was so worth it.

Birthday Weekend Part One- Party for Friends

Saturday Morning was the beginning of our Birthday Weekend Celebration. When I got Ty out of bed yesterday I sang "Happy Birthday Party Day To You" and as you can tell from the picture I put a candle in his toaster strudel. I love Birthday's as if you can't tell.
Ty even blew out the candle. We have been practicing blowing out pretend candles for a long time.

Our Saturday Morning celebration continued with a Birthday Party for Ty's friends, Jack and Keifer. Ty had a great time at the gym running and jumping. After the kids played it was time for pizza, cup cakes, and ice cream. We had a great Morning with our friends and the best part is we saw most of them that afternoon.

Happy Birthday, Tyler Justin Steele!!! We loved celebrating with you this weekend. I can't believe you are already two. You are growing up right before my eyes. You are the most wonderful little boy around and I am so blessed to be your Mom.
Please know that your Mommy and Daddy love you SO much. We can't wait to see what this year holds. Even if we are at the terrible two's stage.
We had a wonderful and very busy weekend. I have so many pictures to post. Stay tuned for more birthday pictures.
