Conductor Ty

Ty with some of his Thomas stuff. It was challenge trying to keep the hat on Ty. Every time I would put it on his head he would reach up and take it off.
We had another busy day of cleaning out closets (New Years Resolution #1) and running errands. It is hard to believe that tomorrow night is New Years Eve. Ryan and I have two parties to attend. I am very excited about seeing our friends again.
I need to say a BIG thank you to my friend, Lauren for helping me with my blog. I love it!

Ball

Ty loves balls. You name the ball and he will love it. I am certain Ty's favorite word is ball. Today was so nice that Ryan and Ty decided to throw the football around outside.
We are so blessed to have Ryan home with us all week! I know for a fact that we love Christmas break. The best part about him being home is we are getting projects done around the house. I am sure our week will be filled with many wonderful memories!

*Santa brought me a new camera for Christmas. Thank you Santa. I am in picture heaven once again.*

Christmas Wrap-Up

Last Tuesday Morning we met some of our good friends: Mark, Lauren, and Madison that were also in Fort Worth visiting family. We met at Starbucks and caught up over coffee. Here is a picture of Ryan with Madison. We had a great visit. Too short but at least we were able to see them.
Precious.

Ty staring at Madison. Look at how long Ty's hair is in this picture. I think it is time for a hair cut.

Ty,Me, Lauren, and Madison. We miss you all so much and hope you move back to Texas VERY soon!
Last Tuesday we also met Nana, Aunt Shana, Callie, and Caleb at the mall to play and eat lunch. Ty loved the indoor play area at the mall. There were so many things for Ty to climb on.

Last Tuesday we met Aunt Shana and Ty's cousins Callie and Caleb at the mall to play and eat lunch.

A new train mat! Ty loves to put all of his Thomas trains on his new mat! Thanks Aunt Shana!

Ty opening presents on Christmas Eve in Fort Worth with all of Ryan's family. Ty was staring not to feel well so he was REALLY fussy. Despite Ty not being in the best of moods we had a wonderful day with Ryan's family.

Ty testing out his new chair while watching his new Choo Choo Soul (Disney) video/cd. Ty decided he needed a break from opening gifts.

Ty pushing Ghee out of his chair. We were blessed to be able to have my parents come over on Christmas morning. This is our first Christmas at home. For the past three years we have flown to Florida on Christmas Morning. Not any more now that we have Ghee and Poppy Back.

2 points!!

New car to have at Ghee and Poppy's house. It is a fire truck. Ty loves all the sounds it makes.

Trying to get a picture of me and Ty in our Christmas PJ's but he was so done! My Mom and I always had matching Christmas PJ's growing up that I wanted the same memory with Ty. I know he is a boy but I can't help it!
Overall we had a WONDERFUL Christmas with all of our family and some special friends!

17 Months Old

It is hard to believe that Ty turned 17 months old on Friday. I have been horrible about blogging but we all got sick right after Christmas and even passed it on to my parents. I think we are all on the mend so I will be able to post Christmas pictures very soon. We have had a very wonderful Holiday despite getting sick!

A Trip Out Of Town Is Not Complete With Out

A trip to my Sister In Laws Pediatrician in Fort Worth. Ty started breaking out in a rash yesterday morning and it started spreading through out the day and this morning. We were very fortunate that we were able to get in right away and not have to go to an Urgent Care Hospital. The Dr. said the rash was probably caused by a delayed allergic reaction to Penicillin. Ty has been on Amoxicillin for his Ear Infection. Thank goodness today was the last day for that. Now we have Ty on a tablet to help the rash. It has been a crazy Holiday for us. Last year Ty was never sick but this year has been another story. I know it has a lot to do with all the interaction from other kids. At least we have had a great year with so many wonderful Friends for Ty!
Overall we have had a great visit in Fort Worth with Ryan's family. Ty has enjoyed playing with all of his cousins.

Growing Up

Yesterday Ryan had the stairs to the attic down and Ty decided to climb them. I told you he loved climbing. He did really well. Of course Ryan was right behind the whole time. I am just amazed at how independent he is becoming. It makes me happy and a little sad. I treasure every moment I have with this precious boy because he his growing up so fast.
Ty's Nana and Papa have stairs at their house so I know what Ty will be doing this week.

We are leaving tomorrow for Fort Worth to Celebrate Christmas with Ryan's family. We will head back home in time for Santa to come to our house on Christmas Eve. This is the first year that Ryan and I get to play Santa and I am so excited.
We hope you all have a Very Merry Christmas!

This was from our Couples Christmas Party with the Thompson's and Belobrajdic's. We had a great Fiesta Christmas Party at our house. Good food, Margaritas, and games.

Showing off our bling rings.
I have felt so behind on my my blog this month. I think it is because December is the most busiest time of the year. So I am going to rewind a little and try to catch you all up on all of the wonderful surprises December has in store for the Steele Family.
I also went to a Christmas Party on Thursday but I did not stay that long due to Ryan not feeling well and I think I was all partied out. We have had a lot of parties this year. We are going to save our energy for New Year's Eve. We are going to Party Like It Is 2009(Themed Party we are attending). We have had a very wonderful year with good friends!

Strep!

Ryan could not make it to work on his last day before the BIG Christmas break, so we decided that he needed to go see a Doctor. Thank Goodness because we found out that Ryan has Strep Throat. The Dr. put Ryan on an antibiotic so hopefully he will start feeling like himself in no time. I will admit I had fun driving out to Westphalia with Christmas goodies in hand. I came back with a car full of goodies myself.
Ty stayed with my parents last night and most of the day today. As my Mom/Ghee said: I want him out of your germ infested home. Thanks Ghee and Poppy!
Please pray that the rest of the Steele's in this house stay healthy and not get worse. Ty is still on the antibiotic for his Ear Infection and I am getting over my cold. Lets hope we do not get anything else!!! We are a dreaming of a very Healthy Christmas.

Germs

What a cute little mess. Ty is a climber! He has started climbing on everything this week. My Mom watched Ty yesterday morning so I could go to my Bible Study Christmas Party. The rocking chair that Ty is sitting and standing on was my rocking chair when I was a little girl.

Our house is infested with germs this week. We have all managed to get sick this week. It started with Ty (Thank goodness he is still taking his antibiotics) and then I got a nasty cold, and Ryan came home from work today because he has a high fever. And for those of you who know Ryan you know that he does not miss work unless he is REALLY sick. Tyler and I are both starting to feel better. Hopefully we are getting these germs out of our system now so we are all healthy for Christmas next week.
Yesterday Rebekah was in town and stayed the night with us. We had a great time and I have a lot of pictures to post from a fun girls night! I must try and get the house back in order and then I am off to get Ryan's staff some Christmas gifts for their last day tomorrow!!!!!!!

Four Christmases

On Sunday I was able to sneak away with my friend Kassie to go and this great Movie. I love Vince Vaughn and Reese Witherspoon. It was great going the movies because it is something that I do not do that often. To be honest I can't think of the last movie I saw at the theater.
Well, the littlest Steele is doing better but now I am getting a cold and I just feel yuck. However, I don't have time to be ill. I have a lot that I have to accomplish this week. I know my body is telling me to slow down and not do as much. It is just hard with Christmas next week!
I am sorry this is not a picture of Ty. I am hoping Santa will bring us a camera for Christmas. Oh, my best friend Rebekah is in Texas this week and will be staying with us tomorrow night. I can't wait to spend the day with her.
Well, I am going to try and rest before Ty wakes up and before tonight's JL meeting which I am in charge of.
