Roar

Since Ryan is in class today and it is freezing outside I thought it would be a good idea for Ty to get some of his energy out on the play area at the Mall. As you can see Ty found something even better than the playground. After Ty said bye bye to the bear he was ready to play. Ty does not know how to say bear yet but he can roar like a bear. Ty's favorite bed time book is Good Night Moon by Margaret Wise Brown. In the book the bunny says goodnight to the three little Bears sitting on chairs and every time Ty sees them he points and roars. Ty does so many precious things on a daily bases that I want to make sure and capture every moment.

Thomas PJ's

I had to take some pictures this Morning of Ty wearing his new Thomas the Train PJ's. Ty had a great morning playing with Percy and Thomas while watching the video.

Ty is only allowed to watch Elmo or Thomas once in the Morning and once in the afternoon (if needed) The rest of the time I have to tell Ty that Elmo or Thomas is sleeping/taking a nap. Ty goes through phases. One day it is all Elmo and the next it is all Thomas. At my parents house he watches Blues Clues.

What a Toot

Ty found some luggage to get into at Ghee and Poppy's house yesterday. You never know what he will do next.
It seems like we always find our way to my parent's house, because Ty knows where they live so most of the time when he get out outside Ty says Ghee and points to their house and starts heading that way. Plus Ty's walk is more like a run. He is getting really fast. What a silly boy.
We are ready for the weekend. We played at open gym this Morning and had a bast seeing our friends. Tomorrow Ryan has class so I am sure Ty and I will find something fun to do. However, Tomorrow night is Girl's Night Out!!! There are about 6 of getting together just to do girl things. I am so excited. Dinner, Girlie Movie, and Drinks. I know it will be fun. Ty and Ryan will be having a boys night with pizza for dinner.

19 Months Old and Second Hair Cut

Getting Started

Check out the drool. I love that face. This Morning Ty went back and saw Megan at the Fountain of Beauty for his second hair cut. He did GREAT. The sucker might of had something to do with it but what ever works. Ty does not get suckers that often so I think that is why he never took it out of his mouth. After Ty's hair cut we went and picked up Chic Fil A and took lunch to Daddy. Ryan needed us to bring him something so it worked out perfect. The only bad part was he fell asleep in the car on the way home. So Ty got a very short nap today. Mommy is very tired right now.
Today Ty also turned 19 months old. It is so hard to believe. We love him more and more everyday.

Pure Joy

Ty comes to life when he is outside. Especially when there is a ball around. That smile lights up a room.

Ty is getting his second hair cut tomorrow. I am amazed at how fast his hair grows.
We were back at Bible Study this Morning. I really cherish that group and the wonderful women in the group. I am blessed to call them all of my friends. We are studying a new book, Max Lucado: Life Lessons- Ephesians. Very powerful.
After we came home and had some lunch Ty decided to play a little ball outside before nap time. I decided to turn it in to a photo shoot. It is great to see Ty doing better. He is just so full life and adores being outside. I am one blessed women. I say that a lot but God is so good.
I still can't believe my baby boy is going to be 19 months tomorrow. Time flies when you are having the time of your life.

Daddy

I wanted to share a cute story. Today Ty and I were out side playing and Ty saw two school buses go by. Ty stopped and pointed to the bus and said Daddy.
A: Ty must know that the school bus represents where Daddy works
B: Ty must think his Daddy is a School Bus.
I will go with A! I just love that Boy.

Priceless

We found the one thing that can calm Ty down these days when he is fussy. Computer Games! Last night Ty and Ryan played some games on the Thomas and Friends Website right before bed (Thanks Shana for the tip). My two boys looked so precious playing on the computer. Ty loved it.

After dinner this evening Ty and Ryan went and played some games with Elmo on the Computer.

The neat thing is we are going to see Thomas and some of his Friends in Grapevine during the month of April. We actually get to ride on Thomas. I know it will be a fun morning for Ty and his cousins Caleb and Jacob. Ty has really become a huge fan of trains. Ty likes to go like a train a lot. Woo Woo.
Ty is getting better everyday. Today he was not as fussy and he had a nice afternoon nap. Thank goodness. The only time he screams is when I put the eye drops in his eyes. We did miss Gymnastics today but we will have a make up class on Friday.

Elmo Live

This is how Ty and all the boys watched the show. We were on the frist row of the mezzanine. Great seats.

All the boys with their Elmo Light Savers. Ty still is walking around with that toy. We also got a T-shirt.
Yesterday was the big morning we had been looking forward too but Ty had a different plan. Ty's plan was to get sick.
It started Friday night. I was up most up the night with Ty and that is when I noticed him tugging at his ear. He did not have a fever he was just really fussy and could not sleep. Needless to say it was a long night. I called the S&W clinic first thing Saturday morning and got Ty and appointment for 1:00pm. Tired and all we headed to Waco to see Elmo and all of our friends. The show was so cute and the boys seemed to like it. If only poor Ty felt better.
After the show we made it home just in time for Ty's Dr. Appointment. Well, Ty has a little bit of everything. A Sore Throat, Ear Infection #3, and Conjunctivitis(eye). Thank goodness Ryan did not have class and was able to meet us at the Doctor and get Ty's prescriptions. One for his ear and one for the eyes. Ty hates the eye drops! The worst part is Ryan's parents were in town this weekend and had not seen Ty since Christmas. Ty was a little better today. Well, his eye looked great but he was still very fussy. It breaks my heart when Ty is sick because I don't know how to help him. Therefore, I just give home extra hugs and kisses.
Hopefully, we will continue to heal an be back to normal soon. Overall we had a great visit with Ryan's parents and Elmo.

What a Scary Cup

A new Sonic just opened up by our house and my Dad played a huge part in getting this Sonic built and getting the roads and landscaping all ready. Ty used to come to this Sonic with my Dad to see all the trucks before it was built. We have even been to the Sonic a few times since it has opened. Ty loves their Diet Cherry Limeade's, Corny Dogs, and Grilled Cheese Sandwiches.
Today there was man dressed as a Sonic Drink Cup in front of the store, so my dad thought it would be fun to take Ty to get his picture taken with him. As you can see Ty was not a fan of the Sonic Drink Cup.

Ryan has a Board Meeting tonight so we had dinner with Ghee and Poppy. It is so nice having my parents right next door on days when Ryan has to work late. It truly is a blessing to have them here with us again.
Ty ate a little bit more today and had milk again so I think we are on the mend. Therefore, I think a trip to Open Gym will be perfect for us tomorrow morning. Ty and I can't wait to see all of our friends again.

Doing Better

Ty has not gotten sick since early Tuesday Morning so that is a HUGE blessing. I continue to pray for his health because Ty does not really have his appetite back. He will eat crackers, some dry toast, and vanilla wafers. He did have a banana this morning so that was good. I made the decision to miss bible study, because I did not want to take any chances of Ty getting his friends sick or catching something else. I realized how much I cherish that group of women. I missed not being there. We are going to lay low tomorrow and then hopefully go to open gym on Friday.
We just need to stay healthy for Elmo and Ty's Nana and Papa (Ryan's Parent's). What a fun weekend.

Potty Time With Elmo

Ty loves to sit on his Potty Chair and watch "Elmo's Potty Time". That is about the only time I can get him to sit on it. so I guess that is a start. It is a very cute video. I will admit I like when Ty watches it.

Poor Ty woke up at 4 am calling my name. I come to find out when I walked in to his room that he had gotten sick. It was so sad to see him laying there in his bed. I got him all cleaned up and luckily I had an unopened bottle of Pedialyte, so I gave Ty some of that and he seemed a little better. Well, to be honest he was acting like himself. He was playing with his toys and then started to call for Ryan. Therefore, I turned on Thomas and we cuddled on the couch together. That is where we spent the rest of the night. I had stripped Ty's bed and started the laundry, but I just wanted to cuddle with Ty since he was sick.
Today Ty has been acting normal all day and running around the house. Thank goodness for nap time right now. I hope he sleeps OK. Big Prayers that this sickness does not turn in to anything worse. We have a some fun things that we need to be healthy for this week and especially this weekend.

Watch out

On Friday when Ryan got home we were talking by his car door and this is what Ty was doing. Ty climbed up in Ryan's car by himself. I told you he likes to climb. We were shocked because we have never seen him do this before. All eyes have to be on Ty because you never know what you will find him doing.

I might be a slow this week with my posts, because I have a crazy week. Today and tomorrow I will be preparing for the Junior League Meeting tomorrow night. I just finished the agenda so I thought I would take break.
This morning was Gymnastics and Ty is really starting to follow directions and keep up the class. I was very impressed with him today. I still had to chase after him but not as much. He loved all of the stations. Ty's favorite is the forward roll. What a big boy! I will try my best to post this week but let me get past tomorrow night.

Valentine Goodies

I promise this is the last Valentine post. Ty and all of his Valentine Goodies: Two new Pajama's Thomas and Elmo, basketball net and balls for the tub, a balloon (or ball as Ty calls it), Elmo doll, and Elmo live tickets. I think Ty is set!
Ty with his new Hugs and Kisses Elmo. Elmo was kind of the theme as you can tell.
My Sweet little Valentine
Big open mouth kisses from Ty.

Ty reading his Valentine card. Inside the card were the Elmo Live tickets. We are going to see Elmo in Waco next Saturday morning with Keifer and Hudson. Ty already has his out fit planned.
Ty checking out his very first tricycle from his Ghee and Poppy. It was a HUGE hit.

We had a wonderful Valentine's Day. The dinner was excellent and watching Ty get a lot of new goodies was priceless. We ended the night after Ty went to bed with some chocolate cake, Wine, and a movie. Well, I watched the movie. Ryan was asleep within 2o minutes of the movie. I think Ryan's long and busy week caught up with him. We are all ready for the week ahead!
