Welcome To The World

"From the fullness of his grace, we recieved one blessing after another."
John 1:16

Georgia Kathryn Steele entered this world on Saturday, October 22 at 11:54 am. She weighed 7 pounds 1 ounce and was 19 1/2 inches long. She is absolutly perfect in every way and we feel so blessed.

There are so many pictures and so much to share but I am still trying to get adjusted to everything, so lots more to come, I promise!

Canterbury Faire

Instead of face painting Ty wanted his hand painted with a beautiful rainbow.

Ty's class

This Morning Ty's school enjoyed a fun Fall Festival with lots of fun activites and the kids got to waer there costumes. Ty's favorite was getting to ride a Horse, and of course the bounce house. It was such a beautiful day and I was so thankful to have such a special Morning with our biggest.

Victory

The two coaches with their biggest fans. Way to go Ryan and Mark.... you make a great team! Our last family picture before our family changes again. :)

Yesterday evening we made our way to Westphalia to Cheer on Daddy and the Westphalia Blue Jays. It was the last game of the Season and most importantly they were undefeated this year! What a great year to be a Blue Jay! We are so proud of you Ryan. We will be ready to cheer you on next year.

39 Weeks

"Let all that I am praise the Lord; may I never forget the good things he does for me." Psalm 103: 2

I am in the home stretch with my third pregnancy. I am still in shock and wondering how we got this far, this fast. However, I know that it took a lot of prayers, patience, faith and hope. I am in tears thinking about how much God has taught me these past 9 months and all that he has brought us through over the past year. I am so desperate to hold our precious miracle and know that everything is going to be ok.
That day will be here very soon, because as of yesterday we have a induction date set for Saturday, October 22. I have been 3 centimeters dilated and 50 % effaced for a while and I am having contractions, nothing too painful yet, but my body has been gearing up for a couple of weeks. Every time I start taking deep breaths around Ryan he always asks if I am ok... :) I know this is before my official due date, that date was a option but Ryan has to be in College Station that day for a oral presentation for the paper that he turned in on Sunday night, and I would really like for Ryan to be around.....:) I feel a huge sense of peace about this decision, and I still could go in to labor on my own. I felt very confident in making this decision yesterday.
For me this time around it is very important knowing that my Doctor will be there for the delivery. He knows us and our story, and he knows that I do not want to have re tell our story. He will be there from the beginning to the end and I am beyond thankful for that. I know that God already has Georgia Kate's birthday planned, so if it is meant October 22 then that is a perfect day to be born.

"Don't fret or worry. Instead of worrying, pray. Let petitions and praises shape your worries in to prayers, letting God know your concerns. Before you know it, a sense of God's wholeness. everything coming together for good, will come and settle you down. It is wonderful what happens when Christ displaces worry at the center of your life." Philippians 4: 6-7 ( Thank you Cindy, Landry's NICU Nurse for sharing this verse with me just at the perfect time.)

As usual I have received the most amazing texts, messages, and hugs from my amazing friends, and for that I praise God for all the beautiful women He has placed in my life. I am blessed!

Father and Son

"And I am certain that God, who began the good work within you, will continue his work until it is finally finished on the day when Christ Jesus returns." Philippians 1:6 I am so thankful for these two boys in my life. They both bring me complete joy and love me unconditionally. I look at this picture and the only word that comes to mind is blessed. I have enjoyed watching their Father and Son relationship grow so much over this past year. I love and adore you, Ryan and Tyler.

This Season

I adore every thing about the season......Halloween, Pumpkin Spice Latte at Starbucks, Scarecrows, and Pumpkins. We even got a Pumpkin Pizza to celebrate the Season. Tyler's School did a Fundraiser with Papa Murphy's Pizza (one of our favorite pizza places). I ordered two and had them wrapped to be frozen.... I was thinking ahead for when GK arrives, but desperate times call for desperate measures so we already ate one. Ty loved it! We will save the other for Halloween before we hit the streets.
We have been doing so much last minute preparations around our house, but I think we are almost there. Ryan let us splurge and hire someone to come clean our house, so thankfully with my parents connections we found the perfect person for the job. I mean a deep down good cleaning was what our house was needing and today it got just that. Hiring someone to clean our house is one luxury I will never take for granted and I am beyond grateful to Ryan for allowing someone to come clean our house for Gk's arrival. Thank you!! Our house looks and smells amazing but now I am watching every footstep and crumb like a hawk. :)
This year this Season is going to be extra special as at will be filled with a extra special blessing, and I think I love it even more just for that.

Halloween Party

Introducing, Tyler the worker! When we asked Tyler what he wanted to be this year for Halloween he said a worker. We asked him what kind of worker, and he said like Poppy. Therefore, Tyler is a Home builder aka Ty the builder! I will say it was a very easy and inexpensive costume. Jeans, Jim Vaughn Home t-shirt, (Poppy's work shirt as Ty calls it) hard hat, and a tool belt!
I don't know about you but I think this is one of the cutest workers I have ever seen. It is amazing how much he has grown up this year. I love Ty the Builder, our worker boy!

Trying to get a group shot of all the kids... did not work to well. Ty is the one aiming a gun. :)

This evening we attended our first Halloween party of the year. Tyler was so excited about wearing his costume for the first time and going on a hay ride.

Needless to say I did not get that many pictures once we arrived, and Ty went on the hay ride with out me.... it was a Haunted Hay Ride and Ryan was one of the Ghosts, and poor Ty was so scared so I am thankful I had so many wonderful friends calming Tyler down. If he only knew at the time that Daddy was one of those scary ghosts maybe it would have been different. Overall, it was a fun evening with some great friends and lots of cute kids in costumes.

Fire Safety Day

This Morning before our Soccer game we went to a local park for a a fun filled Fire Safety event. There were numerous fire trucks lined up all over the parking lot and lots of fire fighter related activities. Ty was loving everything about our special Saturday Morning outing. I am thankful that Ty's school sent home a flier about this fun event or we probably would not have known about it.
Fire Engines and Soccer was the theme for our Saturday Morning, and I think that is a great Morning if you ask me, and especially a good Morning if you ask Tyler. Ty adores Dalmatians (Fire Dog is the name that Ty calls them).

Suiting up to do some drills.

Going to work. I love these jackets.

Stop, Drop, and Roll. After Tyler completed his drills he got a Fire Chief hat.

Taking a ride on a Fire Truck

Tyler and Ryan got to sit up front and turn on the siren. Tyler covered his ears as soon as it went off.My big tough men! :)

Game Day

We are still enjoying a fun Soccer Season with Tyler. I have been very impressed by his growth this Season, and thoroughly enjoy our Saturday Game Days together as a family.

This Morning was Soccer Picture day so the first two shots were from there photo session. I adore Tyler's precious smile, he loved cheesing it up for the pictures.

Today was actually a very nice Morning for a game, and now we are enjoying some much needed family time at home with Daddy!

Pumpkin Patch

This Morning I had the privilege of attending Ty's class field trip to a local Pumpkin Patch that is walking distance from Ty's school. However, I drove over with another Mom that is also pregnant and due next Wednesday.... I was going to walk but she needed someone to show her where to go, so I was being a good friend. :)
Ty was having a great time running, exploring, and trying to pick up every pumpkin. It was so fun seeing him light up and interact with all of his classmates. I am so blessed to have the opportunity to attend all of these special field trips with Tyler, and I will never take them for granted. Ty was so excited about his pumpkin that he got to pick out to keep. I know we will find a special place for it at home.

Taking a break to play the drums on the pumpkins.

Story time. Look at Ty raising his hand... love him. :)

Art table. Ty was really upset this Morning that Daddy could not come on his field trip, too. Ryan has been working a lot of late hours to finish a major paper for his Doctorate (he turns it in on Monday so we are almost there, and plus he keeps telling me not to go in to labor before Monday.... lots of pressure. :) ).... plus work commitments, so I know Ty is really missing his Daddy.

Tyler was working really hard on his project and he told me after he finished it that he wanted to give it Daddy so he can take it to work. I truly adore our biggest and I am soaking up all of this special time with him. So proud of his finished project. He gave it to me so we would not loose it.

The bean bag toss was on of Tyler's favorites, and he kept trying to cut in line so he could go more than once. :)

Tyler with his class.

What a beautiful Fall morning to go to a pumpkin patch. I am so thankful I was able to be there to share in such a fun outing with my favorite 4 year old.

Sneak Peak

I thought it was time to give you a a little sneak peak in to Georgia Kate's nursery. It has been amazing to see the transformation in this room that holds so many precious and bittersweet memories for me. I wish I could take credit for these beautiful creations, but GK's Ghee and our amazing long time family friend, Judy deserve all the credit. We our so thankful for Ghee and Judy and all of their special loving touches. This is Judy's 3rd nursery to help us with, so she will always hold a special place in our hearts. Ty has really grown attached to Ms. Judy and almost every Morning he asks if Ms. Judy is coming over. :)

The wooden sign (My Prince Did Come.... His Name Is Daddy) was the first piece I bought for the Nursery. I have had my eye on it for years and I knew that If we ever were blessed with a girl I would get this sign. I actually gave it to Ryan for Fathers Day, and he had tears in his eyes when he saw it for the first time.

This mirror is hanging above the Changing table. We ordered the letters off of Etsy..... I love this site, and have made several purchases from there. We also have her initials above her bed, but that was still a work in progress when I took these pictures. We actually have a few more items hung that I have not taken pictures of just yet.... I will do the full room tour at some point.

There has been so much time and extra love poured in to this room, and that means the world to me. I am truly thankful for every tiny detail... it is perfect!
