Coach

Ryan agreed to Coach again this Spring so like any good Soccer Coach you must make some goals for your players to practice with. You will start noticing a theme with the following posts. :) Sweet GK watched closely in her Bumbo as Daddy worked hard on his goals, and Tyler could be found riding his bike up and down our street.... with is back pack on of course. :)

Soccer Camp

My parents came to the rescue and had a memory stick that I could put my memory stick/picture drive in to download pictures (no clue what all the terms are). Now I can attempt to catch up on all of our pictures and fun events.
Two weeks ago Tyler attended his first ever Soccer Camp at the University of Mary Hardin Baylor (My Alma Mater). Ty was very excited for this day to come and he really had a great time. Tyler will be attending a Spring Break Soccer Camp there next week for 4 days, and he is excited about this as well. I think he is even more excited that his friends Luke and Avery will be joining him this time around. Tyler is really showing some great improvement this season, but over all he is having a blast and that is what we want. :) Watching Tyler play soccer or any sport for that matter is one of my favorite things to do! I am so proud of our mini athlete!

Landry's Legacy

Last year we formed Landry's Legacy and we joined the St. Patrick's Day 10/5 K run walk to help raise money for the Mclane Children's Hospital- Scott and White. Our team raised over $7,000 last year..... all because of one little boy, our Landry!
We have formed Landry's Legacy again this year and today I have been blown away by the response of some of our amazing friends who want to join us again and we have also received some new team mates this year as well.
This year is not as big as last year and we probably wont raise the same amount of money as we did last year, but I am ok with that. I am just extremely grateful and humbled by those that are participating or have made a donation to our team. The 10/ 5 K will be held this Saturday and I have attached the link below if you would like to join us or make a donation to our amazing team!
Of course Saturday Morning is a Soccer day for us as well, so we will be going back and forth a lot that Morning... well, at least I will. The race is also a big day for the Junior League as we partner with the Mclane Children's Hospital and hold our annual Kids In The Kitchen Event. I love this event and we have so many fun activities planned for the kids this year... I can't wait to see Tyler participate. :)
Everyday we continue to walk in HOPE that one day we will see Landry again and spend Eternity with him. Thank you for your continued love and support during this journey and as always thank you for loving us and our sweet Landry.

Pin It Sunday

Every Sunday I will be sharing with you some of our favorite Pinterest Inspired meals. I am hooked on this site and every week I have been trying new meals. Here our two that Ryan raved about!

Oreo Pudding Poke Cake. This was very good and super easy which I love.

Crock Pot Chicken Parmesan. Ryan loves Chicken Parmesan and he really loved this... he even thanked me the next day for making such a delicious meal. Honestly I love anything in a crock pot. :)

I thought It was about time to start sharing my new obsession with everyone. Every weekend I prowl my food board and print out new recipes to try for the week.

Ramblings

Well, I am still having camera issues and can't get any of my pictures to download and the camera is not charging so I currently have a dead camera. We have tried two different computers and still can't get anything to work so I will be taking the camera back to Best Buy.... thankfully we still have a warranty on it. Of course my camera is full of so many pictures. We have had a lot of picture worthy things going on in our house lately and I can't wait to post about them. Until I can find away to get the pictures off of the camera you will just have to listen to my ramblings. :)
Soccer is in full swing around our house and Tyler is having blast. We has two practices last week and our first game yesterday. Thankfully, we will only have one practice a week on Thursdays (two was a little much) Ryan agreed to Coach again so we have some returning players and few new faces. The game yesterday Morning was so much fun and it was amazing to see the improvement in most of our players. Tyler scored 5 goals (in the correct goal, too) Ryan attached a extra jersey to the goal that we were shooting in, and it worked!! Tyler was and is still so proud of himself. He would usually run off the field after he scored a goal and come give me and Poppy high fives.... precious! I love Saturdays with Soccer it makes for a fun family day.
Georgia Kate, our little Soccer Sister stayed all snug in her stroller. She has been going to all the practices as well so she will probably be a pro by the end of our season. :)
We really did not do too much the rest of weekend which was kind of nice. I always enjoy some much needed family time over the weekend. The best news is this is our last week of school before Spring Break!
The weather today is absolutely beautiful so I better finish up on some chores while GK is still napping so we can spend the rest of our afternoon outside.
