Happy Saint Patrick's Day!

Ty wanted to wish everyone a happy St. Patrick's Day! Ty is wearing his favorite green shirt and the hat that I wore on Saturday at the St Patrick's day 5k walk and run. Ty is also sporting a lovely bruise on his head! I will say it looks much better than it did yesterday.

Home Sweet Home

We just got back from a nice long visit with Ryan's family. Thank goodness for Spring Break! We had a wonderful visit but I am so glad to be back home to get Ty back on his schedule and put Ryan to work around the house. Ryan is currently painting our living room. Gotta love those "Honey Do" lists. I am so behind on posts so I promise to catch up this week. When we got home this afternoon I had to turn right back around and get ready for our Monthly JL Board meeting that was tonight. Please come back for more posts!
Post to come: 5k run and Kids in the Kitchen.
Post to come: Lots of play time with Ty's cousins: Callie, Jake, and Caleb

Happy Birthday Ryan

Ryan celebrated his Birthday today and we were able to celebrate with Ryan's Family. On Sunday we celebrated with a family dinner. Ryan's Niece Shay also has a Birthday close to Ryan so we had a double Birthday celebration. Ty loved being able to blow out the candles, and he thought the cake was very yummy, too! We had a great night. This Morning we treated Ryan to a Birthday Cinnamon Roll! We had a fun filled day complete with a train ride and playing at the park.(more pictures to come) The picture ablove was probably Ryan's favorite gift. He now wants a Star Wars themed office. We will see he wears the helmot more.... Ty or Ryan. It is going to be close!
We love you so much, Ryan! Thanks for everything you do for us. We are so proud of everything that you have accomplished and all of your hard work. You are the most amazing Husband and Father and we are so blessed to have you. Just think you will have two little boys to help you blow out your candles next year. You are the BEST!!

Oh Joy

It is important to find joy in everything even when your family room moves to your bedroom. We can't get the wire that was cut in our family room fixed until we start the wiring for our remodel. However, my dad said that might happen at the end of next week... not bad!! Until then we will enjoy our time watching TV while snuggled in bed.
We have had a crazy Friday. It started with a breakfast play date at Chick Fil A and then ended with a a fun trip to the the train park (Whistle Stop). Ty did get a hair cut so he looks very handsome.
I just got home from Pasta in the Park and I am now thinking I should go to bed since I have to be at Lions Park for the 5k and Kids in the kitchen at 6am! It for a very good cause so It will be worth it. Ryan's Spring Break started today! However, our Saturday is full. Ryan will be taking Ty to a Spelling Bee to watch some of Ryan's students participate and then they will head to Lions park for KITK. We are going to have tons of activities for kids. I am tired thinking of our day! Goodnight.....

Not Today

Well, we did not get the rest of our house framed! We hope to have them back tomorrow. I am currently working on Board Reports for Junior League so I will have a better post tomorrow. However, tomorrow is when things start getting really hectic! I will say that Ty and I had a great morning at Bible Study and then we had our weekly lunch play date with Sadie and Hudson. Be back soon!

The Frame Work Begins

Today was another big day at our house. The Frame work on our addition began. They got most of the frame done on the ground today, and the boards should go up tomorrow. I love having the boards down because I can see where everything is (Thanks to my amazing Dad for walking me through it today). I am a visual person. I will say that this whole process has been running smoothly until this afternoon. The cable wire was cut!!!! I keep thinking of all the shows we are missing. Well, I must remain positive until Thursday, because that is when we can get a Cable technician out here. Thank goodness we still have Internet..... The crew ready to work. And the bottom picture is the beginning of our frame work.
Well, after Ty got home from MDO we spent the majority of our day outside. Thank goodness for beautiful weather. Tomorrow we will head to Bible Study. Thursday is when things get really hectic. The Junior League is teaming up with the Children's Miracle Network for a 5k walk/run and a huge Kids In The Kitchen Project this Saturday. I am very excited about this volunteer opportunity!
