New Things

Some days I just wish I could hit a pause button and slow down how big Georgia Kate is getting.... it is going so fast. I am going to blink and she will be 1!

Today I thought I would try her in this fun activity center that Tyler loved... her feet can't touch the bottom yet, but she really enjoyed all the new stuff.

However, when I pulled this toy out again it was amazing the bitter sweet memories that came with it. We had packed this toy away when Tyler outgrew it but brought it back out right before Landry was born, and then of course it lived in our closet when Landry did not come with us..... I ached all over again for that precious boy who I never got to see in this activity center, but then I felt God reminding to look at the precious girl that is enjoying it now, and to capture these special moments that we have with her as she is experiencing a "first". I love these sweet moments during the hustle and bustle of our days when I am reminded of how precious life is and how God is slowly changing and restoring our hearts.

A Sweet Reminder

I saw this on Pinterest today and I found it to be very fitting, because I say this to Georgia Kate every day! Love, Love!
I have become a huge fan of Pinterest.... it took me while to get in to it but now I am hooked. I especially love their recipes. I have made 2 meals so far and they turned out really good. I will be trying 2 more this week.

I reached in to our cabinet after I finished giving Georgia Kate her bath tonight, and I grabbed this adorable duck towel, and as I was opening it up Landry's name appeared on it (I was surprised because I thought I boxed everything of his up), and my heart leap.... I thought about putting it back, but I decided against that because it felt like I would be hiding him from her, and more than anything I want Georgia Kate to know about her other Big Brother, Landry.
Plus I thought she would make a cute duck.... and I was right. GK is one lucky girl to have two amazing Big Brothers, and I love knowing that Georgia Kate has something of Landry's. Beyond blessed by these three beautiful children.

Happy February!!

February 1 or May 1?

The weather here the past few days has been so incredibly nice, and unseasonably warm (Ty was running around in shorts this afternoon). I thought this was Winter but it feels more like Spring. We have been able to take nice walks and play a lot in our backyard! Both Tyler and Georgia Kate love to be outside, so I am thankful for beautiful days like today.
