Family Christmas Party

Slam Dunk! Ty LOVED this basketball hoop. He played with it all night. The good thing is my Dad got him one for Christmas..... Don't tell Ty.
Ty also loved the fire truck. You can see Ty's friend Keifer riding in the fire truck. The boys were pushing other kids away who wanted on. Ty even pushed another little boy. I was shocked because I have never seen him do that. Ryan was so proud. And so it begins.

Thursday night my dear friend Pam and her Family hosted a Family Pot Luck Christmas Dinner. So many of our special friends were there and the food was wonderful. Ty had a great time playing with all of his little buddies. We had to bring a book to the party so we could participate in a book exchange. There were 17 kids that participated. We drew numbers and then the kids went and picked their book. It was a great time and we got a Sandra Boynton Book. She is one of our favorite authors. We can't wait for more fun Christmas Parties.
Last night Ryan was working on a paper so after I put Ty to bed I went over and had a glass of wine with my dear friend, Kassie. It was a wonderful night with great conversations. I laughed so much.
This morning the Junior League held a Christmas Coffee at a beautiful home. The house, food, and drinks were excellent. I enjoyed spending the morning with a great group of women. I truly am blessed to have so many wonderful women in my life. God is so good! Thank you Mom for watching Ty and even putting him down for nap. I called my Mom on my way home and she was about to put Ty down for a nap so she told me to run some much needed errands. So, I listened to my Mom and went to Target to do some more Christmas Shopping. We are having a gift exchange at Play Group on Monday Morning. I am all set! Another treat to our day is Ryan got home at 4 pm. We were so excited to see him. We ate a quick dinner and then Ryan headed to a play off football game.
Tomorrow we are on a mission to finish decorating the outside of our house. We are hosting two events at our house next week. That also means I have to get the inside all clean and ready for some Christmas cheer!

Slowing Down

You can tell that Christmas is just around the corner because we are so busy and I am having a hard time finding some down (blogging) time with all the hustle and bustle. I will be home tonight and will try and post about what we have been up to. I need to do it now because next week is another crazy week with a Christmas party play date, Check presentation at S&W, Supper Club (out our house), open gym, seeing Santa, and Couples night out. I know there is more. Now I am off to do some more errands.
Ty climbed up in is chair by himself. I think we have a climber on our hands. I was so proud of him. I think Santa might bring Ty his very own chair for Christmas! Shhhhh.
Oh, the snowman pillow is my favorite. $1.00 at Target. I got two more.

The Joys Of Toilet Paper

Yes, that is a toothbrush. Ty has two and he loves them both.

Starting today I kept the bathroom doors shut. However, this little turkey knows how to open the doors. We will figure something out. I also have to leave the toilet lids down because Ty will put his hands in the toilet water and splash around. Yuck!
I am off to cook dinner for a dear friend of mine who just had a baby and then prepare for the family Christmas party tonight.

And To All A Goodnight

I told you I loved the Holidays. Wait until you see our Christmas Eve Pajama's. Tyler and I got Christmas Eve pajama's. I guess Ty likes wearing Christmas pajama's to because he crashed. It could also have a lot to with us having a crazy day. It started with Bible Study this morning and then we came home for a quick lunch and then a nap however I had to wake Ty up from his nap. I know "Gasp" but we had his one year picture viewing today. Let me just say that Ty took the best pictures and my Mom and I had a really hard time deciding. I ended up getting a lot. It's his year picture how can you not?!? After the viewing we went to Marshall's to get a pick for a book exchange we are doing at a family Christmas party tomorrow night. I can't wait to deck Ty out in one of his Christmas outfits. After Marshall's HEB and then finally home. Whew! We get to do it all over again tomorrow.

Happy Holidays from the Steele Family

Here are some pictures from our Christmas photo shoot. Don't worry none of these pictures made the cut. I ordered our Christmas cards today and I should have them the first part of next week. I will say it again I love this Holiday. Thanks Mom and Dad for being such wonderful photographers and entertainers. It is is challenge to always get Ty to cooperate and smile. As you can see he made a break for it several times. Enjoy your Holiday Season!

Mom

For the past month Ty has been calling me Mom. He skipped right over Mamma and went to Mom. I will say it is the sweetest sound in the whole wide word and I love my new title. So in honor of Ty calling me Mom I thought I would post a picture of us together. I love my sweet boy so much. December is already in full swing. We have so many fun Christmas play groups and parties to look forward too. It kicks off tonight with a Flaunt jewelry party that I am am hosting with my friend Whitney. Whitney's Grandfather makes all the jewelery and Whitney is learning how to make some, too. She gave me a pair of earrings for my Birthday that I wear almost everyday. I know it will be a fun night. I can't wait to share with you all the other fun events we have planned.

You Better Not Pout

Ty had enough of our Christmas photo shoot today. It took two days but we finally found the prefect ones for our Christmas card.

I need to say a HUGE thanks to my dear friend, Lauren for giving my blog a special Christmas touch. I find myself just staring at it sometimes. Thanks Lauren. You are one talented blog artist!
