I thought I would be better about posting pictures of my bump since I have a blog this time around, but I will admit I forget sometimes how far a long I am. I am going to blame it on having a toddler running around! I am doing good just to remember when my doctor apt's are. Overall I have been feeling great, so I can't complain. Landry is growing every day and is very active. Especially at night, but that probably has a lot to do with me finally having a moment to sit. I am so excited about having another little running around and I have a feeling Ryan already has big plans for him and his boys. I will say it goes really the second time around! August will be before we know it. I will admit I have started worrying about what will happen when the baby arrives and how Ty will handle all this change. I know it will all work out and I will just have to give it to God. We love you Landry James and can't wait to meet you. Your room is almost all painted. We ran out and Ryan has not had a chance to finish, plus his room will be getting new carpet soon. I can't wait to get the crib up!
Yesterday I had the privilege of hosting a very special Baby Shower for my dear friend, Rebekah, with some good friends. Rebekah and I went to High School but we not really friends. We ended up being in the same English class after I transferred to UMHB, and after that we became best friends and room mates! Rebekah now lives in New Orleans and is pregnant with her first, Brady Joseph. Rebekah and I have been through a lot together: roomies, traveling through Europe together, Weddings, and now babies. I love you so much, Rebekah and thank you for being my forever friend.Rebekah still has several friends and family in Texas so I was excited when she said yes to us hosting a shower for her and Brady. The Morning was so wonderful thanks to my wonderful hostesses/friends. Thank you ladies so much for all you did! Because of you all I stayed calm about opening up my house. We actually have the perfect house for hosting showers. Ty was also in attendance but thanks to Ghee he was entertained the whole time. My Mom was inviting to the shower, too. I am so thankful for Rebekah and can't wait to meet Brady. Hopefully, Landry and Brady will become good friends, too!
The Hostesses: Kassie, Me, Rebekah, Heather, and Lindsay
Ty had a wonderful time last week playing with Madison last week. We can't wait until Madison and her Mommy and Daddy move back to Temple. The main reason for their visit was to start looking at houses and I lost count of how many houses they looked at. Ty loved when Madison stayed with us while her Mommy and Daddy looked at houses. I think we spent the majority of our play time outside and on Tuesday afternoon we headed to Whistle Stop. They were so cute playing together and they even did bath time together, too. We loved having them stay with us and can't wait until June when they move back! Now are fingers are crossed that the offer they put on their first home goes through very soon!
I can't believe I am just now posting about Easter but as I mentioned yesterday, we had a crazy week! We headed to the early Service at Church on Easter Sunday, because we knew that we had a full day of cleaning and painting ahead of as we were awaiting the arrival of our out of town guests. After Church we headed home to finish making Brunch. Ghee came over to have Brunch and help us clean. Poor Poppy was at home sick. It was a fun filled and busy day. Ty got a lot of Easter treats from the Easter Bunny. It is a shame that Ty does not like the Easter Bunny! Ty really loves his sandbox from the Easter Bunny and soccer goal from Ghee and Poppy. What a wonderful day!
We decided to take Easter pictures in our new Master Bedroom. Ty looked so handsome.
I can't believe it has been almost a week since my last post but we have just had one of those weeks. First of all we had some really good friends in town looking at houses and we were lucky enough to have them stay with us. They arrived on Sunday and left this Morning. Ty is already missing his Madison, those two became BFF's. I have pictures that I will post soon. Unfortunately we had something almost every night, and two nights I put everyone to work stuffing bags for the HPLT 5k tomorrow Morning. I am starting to learn that sometimes I just have to say NO, because now I am going crazy trying to clean and prepare for a baby shower that I am hosting tomorrow. I have tons of pictures so I will try and play catch up this weekend, However, I have a feeling I might crash after the shower.... I think I can.....
We have had issues with our Internet, Ryan started painting yesterday so Ty and I stayed with my parents last night because of the smell, and now we are trying to get everything organized and cleaned for some friends that are coming to stay with us for a few days! Our house and yard work are never ending these days. I am pooped!!
