Saturday was not only a big day for Landry's Legacy, it was also a big day for JLBC and our Kids In The Kitchen Community Project. The project is a national Junior League initiative. We help to
promote child health and wellness by empowering children and youth to make healthy lifestyle choices, therefore preventing obesity and its associated heath risks. The kids and their families were able to make healthy snacks and there were tons of fun activities (the bounce houses were the biggest hit) for kids and their families. We had so many amazing volunteers giving of their time which I am so thankful for. This league year is officially begining to wrap up which is hard to believe. What a tough and humbling experience this year has been for me. I am so proud of JLBC and all we do in our community.
