Christmas Cocktail

Every Christmas the Junior League has an event where we honor our past Presidents and it is also a good opportunity for Actives, Provisional's, and Sustainer's to come to together. In years past this event has always been a Christmas Coffee held on a Saturday. However, we have noticed a decline in attendance so this year Me, Lacy, and Whitney put our heads together to try and come up with a new theme. December 2009 marked the first year of the Christmas Cocktail. It was held last Thursday, December 10th at the home of a wonderful Sustainer, Cindy Newton. Cindy's home was beautiful and our attendance doubled!! I think we had close to 75 league members which is an incredible number compared to the last few years. It truly was an incredible night and I was so proud of Whitney and Lacy for all there hard work. Unfortunately I only got two pictures. There was just so much going on. The Christmas Cocktail was a huge success!! My wonderful Arrangement Chairs- Lacy and Whitney.
