Every Easter our Neighborhood does an annual Easter Egg Hunt. I love this activity and Tyler and now Georgia Kate have a great time. I was not sure if our neighborhood was doing anything this year because the past few years have become really crowded with non neighborhood individuals that would not bring eggs, so the kids would not get that many eggs, and last year there were a lot of ugly words between non neighborhood parents, which is a complete turn off and not what Egg Hunts are about. Well, last Monday I get an email about the Egg Hunt so of course I wanted to take the kids and let Georgia Kate experience her first Egg Hunt.
It was such a nice and low key event this year with some of our favorite neighbors. Tyler was off and doing his own thing and Georgia Kate was trying to get the hang of the whole hunting for eggs, but it did not take her long. I think she would have gotten more if she didn't open each one after she picked it up. ;) GK also learned how much fun it was with two Easter Baskets... don't mess with her when she is hunting eggs, she means business. We had such a fun afternoon and weekend. Tyler and Ryan were both off on Good Friday, and Tyler even has yesterday off so we had a nice long Easter Weekend. Now it is time to get back in the swing of things.
